Decorative rug woven on a backstrap loom by the Color de Rosa group in the town of Belisario Dominguez in the municipality of Chenalhó, Chiapas. This rug combines two artisanal techniques: weaving on a backstrap loom with natural sheep wool, spun by hand that is the base of the mat, on which later they add pompoms of 5 different colors one by one, until they form complete figures and lines along the mat.

Each mat has about 650 pompoms that are made by hand winding acrylic or yarn yarn, once tied, the pompom is cut and shaped into a round shape.
