Poncho Hill
The ruana Hill was woven with llama wool by Esther and Eduardo, a married couple of artisans from Salta, Argentina. Since they were children, they have been following the customs of their great-grandparents, the traditional loom work. In their workshop they have three looms and take care of the whole manufacturing process from spinning, dyeing and weaving. The weaving of the ruana Hill is known as barracán and involves a lot of time and dedication.
