Sagradas Cajitas is the brand under which the chilean artist and artisan, Rocío Inostroza, gives life to these beautiful and colorful altarpieces, that balance woodwork with the delicacy of threads and embroidery.
Inspired by the “Sacred Protector”, it retrieves an old tradition. It consists of women who used to embroider a Heart of Jesus on a small fabric for their loved ones, in order to protect them all danger or evil.
Through a dedicated and meticulous process made completely by hand, each of these pieces with their symbols and meanings, rescue the dreams, beliefs, customs and joy of popular art and folklore, present in Latin American Culture.
