The pig family was born on an Innovating Tradition Design Course. An artisan tried different variations to a traditional piece until he got to the final product. The design got selected to be displayed at the MoMa store in 2012. Use them as containers, saucers and even to decorate your desk. Women from Tlapazola are the creators of this red clay pieces. They get the mud from their fields. They mix with water this red mud only found in Oaxaca. Like every clay transformation process, they leave it under the sun to dry. After it is dry, the clay is ready to use and mold it into anything. Small W 3 H 2.8 in, Medium W 5, H 3 in, Large W 6 H 4.8 in.
