Square Cocoa Appetizer Plate
Cute small plate design to give a touch to your table. This technique originally from Zapotitla Puebla is called Burnished mud; the name comes from the use of different quartz to polish the piece at the end of the process. After the artisan takes the soil from the mountains, they leave it under the sun to dry for about 2 to 3 days. After this, the mud mixes with water and turn into soft mud to be able to work and mold the pieces. After the piece is mold, they leave it under the sun and then in the oven several times until it takes this authentic look.
